THINKCAR PROG 5 Immobilizer Programmer overview
The THINKCAR PROG 5 is THINKCAR's newest key and immobilizer programmer. It combines key programming, immobilizer matching and ECU cloning in one unit, and connects to a THINKCAR diagnostic tablet or a PC.
ECU cloning
Clone engine and transmission ECUs from Bosch, Continental Siemens, Delphi, DENSO, Magneti Marelli, ZF, GETRAG, Temic and more — over 10,000 vehicle models — with data verification for engine ECUs. It also reads and writes EEPROM, encrypted and BMS chips.
Immobilizer and key programming
- Volkswagen / Audi: 3rd, 4th and 5th generation, MQB and MLB — add keys, all-keys-lost and component replacement.
- BMW: CAS1/2/3/3+ and CAS4/4+ cloning, CAS4/4+ and FEM/BDC replacement, G-chassis key matching and FRM repair.
- Mercedes-Benz: FBS3 and FBS4 — clear, replace and program lock groups, engines, transmissions and gear selectors.
- ID48 / ID96 key chip cloning, plus DSM, FDCT and VGS NAG2 / NAG3 modules.
Built-in hardware
A contactless key read/write slot, Mercedes key slot, EEPROM socket with clamp, DIY board slot, DB15 and DB26 cables and USB-C for faster PC cloning.
